Musical Arts in Collaborative Piano at the University of Michigan studying under Martin Katz. Prior to coming to Michigan, Ms. Thune maintained an active teaching and freelance career, as well as repetiteur and rehearsal pianist positions at Ballet Arizona and Interlochen Arts Academy. She has performed in concerts given through the University of Alabama, Chandler-Gilbert Community College, the Civic Music Association of Des Moines, Iowa, Civic Morning Musicals in Syracuse, New York, the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, Arizona, and the Western Slope Concert Series in Grand Junction, Colorado, among others. Most recently, Ms. Thune was a répétiteur, coach, and continuo player for the University of Michigan’s production of Don Giovanni.
